GPS Logger System
Thanks to the GPS Logger System and the ultra-fast GPS fix, leGPSBip+ records all your flights: 8GB means more than 20,000 flights!
After your flight, connect your GPSBip+ to your computer and view your track! For each flight, leGPSBip+ records your track in two formats (KML and IGC).
Simply open the KML file in Google Earth and relive your flight! The saved file includes all your stats, such as max speed, max altitude, max G-Force, total distance and duration.
The recorded IGC file is FAI-CIVL certified. Use it to declare your flights on your federation's website (FFVL, DHV, SHV, USHPA, BHPA, etc.), or to view it in your favourite flight log software (XContest, VisuGPS, IGC Webview, Doarama, etc.).
Smart Speaking Assistant
Stop flying with your eyes glued to your screen, free up your field of vision and listen to the voice of your new solar assistant! leGPSBip+ can speak periodically according to distance, altitude or time, or on demand by simply double-tapping it!
leGPSBip+ speaks in the language of your choice (13 different languages), and gives you all the information you need about paragliding (altitude, speed, average rate of climb, time, duration of flight, etc.).
All without interfering with the vario beeps, and of course, because every pilot is unique, everything can be customised and deactivated.
Instant Vario Technology
Flying a vario is now so intuitive!
Thanks to Instant VarioThe beeps are now in tune with how you feel, and reeling in becomes a natural sense.
This ultra-fine sensitivity and instant response time are the result of years of research, using ultra-sensitive sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope) and cutting-edge technology with a 3D positioning and orientation algorithm.
The technology Instant Vario is insensitive to gusts of wind (on take-off and in the air)This is in contrast to conventional variometers with pressure sensors (95% on the vario market).
Solar and autonomous
Fly with a free mind, without having to worry about the battery level of your instrument!
leGPSBip+ is solar, and has an internal li-polymer battery, with a greater capacity of 20% than the GPSBip1.
The instrument continuously recharges thanks to its mono-crystalline solar cell (22% efficiency) and MPPT (maximum power point tracking) controller. leGPSBip+ recharges even when it is switched off, leaving it over 20 hours of autonomy without sun*.
If the leGPSBip+ is discharged, you can still use USB fast charging: 30 minutes of USB charging means hours of flying!

Designed for paragliders
The minimalist design of the GPSBip+ has exactly what paragliders need, making it an intuitive and complete instrument.
When you want to know your altitude or any other flight information, all you have to do is double-tap on leGPSBip+. It's easy, even with huge mittens!
The design of the resonance chamber (front grille) ensures a clearer, louder sound.
For those who want to fly silently, the LED will help you find the thermal thanks to its green/red flashes (400x brighter than leGPSBip1).
leGPSBip+ has been specially designed for paragliding, but it is also easy to use on the ground thanks to its single button and status LED. The design of the button prevents it from being accidentally switched on (in the bag, for example), or from being accidentally switched off (during the flight or on take-off).
Each action performed by the button is confirmed by a voice announcement. So you're never lost in the settings! And there's more, Voice provides a multitude of information, such as take-off detection, satellite acquisition, battery level, etc...
Don't miss a single beep from the vario when you're flying: voice announcements do not interfere with beeps. All the information (beeps and announcements) is audio-mixed so you can hear everything clearly.
And because every detail countsEven the Velcro fastening has been redesigned with rounded corners!
Compose your flight computer
For those who want to fly without compromise, leGPSBip+ can be connected to a smartphone or tablet via a custom-made cable. So you can benefit from all the functions of your screen coupled with the ultra-sensitive sensors of the GPSBip+!
GPS, baro, accelero and gyro data from the GPSBip+ are transmitted to the flight application installed on your smartphone.
Currently, compatible software includes : LK8000, XCTrack and FlyMe.

Stress-free beeping
Sometimes the beeping of certain varios can cause a lot of stress, particularly in a +8 thermal.
So we spent a long time working on the sound of the GPSBip+ to make it as stress-free as possible, with soft beeps but sensitive. You won't feel like you're flying to the sound of an alarm clock.
leGPSBip+ is small but powerful
leGPSBip+ is turnkey! Switch it on and take off! With the default settings, it records your track, gives you altitude, speed and average climb rate on demand, and of course beeps in thermals.
With the web-app leConfiguratorYou can fully configure your GPSBip+ to make it even more powerful.
Activate flight ceiling alarms to avoid entering airspace of your next flight.
Activate automatic mode For the voice announcement, choose what information you want to hear (altitude, speed, time, average rate of climb, etc.).
Choose the format in which you want leGPSBip+ to record your track: KML or IGC, or both!
And a whole host of other features!
All this can be configured on 1 to 3 different profiles. You have three activities, for example: cross-country, cross-country and tandem flying. You can set up a profile for each activity. leGPSBip+ can also record ground tracks for activities such as hiking or skiing.
Customise the vario tone
Here's the latest feature added to the Configurator: you can now fully customise the tone of the GPSBip+'s beeps! It's very intuitive, just move the points and curves around, then listen to the simulation as if you were in the air.
You can also customise the special weak lift detector function: this sound is made up of short modulations indicating weak lift (from -30cm/s to your climb rate setting, default +20cm/s), not strong enough to roll up, but which will help you find the nearby thermal.

Our instruments are designed, manufactured and assembled in Grenoble, France, in the heart of the Alps.
Stodeus Paragliding is a small two-person company with a passion for paragliding, working in collaboration with a sheltered workshop for disabled workers in France.
And because we believe in environmentally responsible products, all our instruments have been designed with ease of repair in mind. If you need spare parts, we can supply them. All parts are easily replaceable with a small base of technical skills.
